Based in Johns Creek, Georgia, with deep roots in Mumbai and Delhi. Three original film projects in development. A library of published stories. And a lifelong belief that the right story, told well, can reach anyone — anywhere.
Let's ConnectNot just the ones I read — but the ones I heard, watched, felt, and eventually began telling myself. Stories from the mountains of North India. Stories from the chaos and colour of Delhi. Stories that stayed with me across three decades of business, two countries, and one persistent, unshakeable dream — to bring them to screen.
I am Anil Saigal. Born and raised in Delhi, I spent thirty years building businesses — international apparel export across three continents, real estate across India — before making a deliberate, joyful pivot toward what I had always loved most.
My wife and I moved to Mumbai in 2007 with one promise to ourselves: we would chase the story, not the salary. Fifteen years later, that promise has produced a 3.9 million-view web series, a library of published children's books, and three original film projects currently in development.
Today I am based in Johns Creek, Georgia, actively building my presence in Atlanta's extraordinary film ecosystem while maintaining strong creative and industry connections in Mumbai and Delhi.
I am an India-USA bridge — in stories, in talent, in market access. If you are looking for that bridge, you may have just found it.
High in the Himalayan mountains of Kulu-Manali, a young boy climbs the peak that claimed his father's life — and at the summit, is offered entry into Paradise itself. What he chooses next is the heart of the story.
A coming-of-age animated feature rooted in Himalayan folklore, with a universal truth at its centre: the greatest journey is sometimes the one that brings you home.
Calcutta, 1959. A generous gentleman gives his life savings to a destitute French painter — accepting a canvas as collateral, with a promise of return. Decades later, that painting sits at the centre of a gloriously complicated tangle involving a retired stockbroker, an ambitious young entrepreneur, a scheming neighbour, and a French aristocrat who has been searching for his grandfather's masterwork for forty years.
The world's most famous fairytale — reimagined as a Bollywood exposé. What if Cinderella was never the sweet, oppressed victim the story insists she was? What if she was something far more interesting? A satirical animated feature that rewrites history with ironic justice — and a Bollywood song or two.
101 episodes. Bilingual — English and Hindi. Written, directed and hosted by Anil Saigal. A financial literacy series for young adults aged 15–25 that became one of India's most-watched independent educational web series in its genre.
An ongoing illustrated children's book series set in the magical Buddha Ridge Forest, following the adventures of three unlikely friends. Warmth, humour and gentle life lessons — ten books in development.
A standalone illustrated adventure story celebrating curiosity, friendship and the natural world. Published by Ashee Media.
A warm, practical and engaging guide to life skills for teenagers — the book version of the philosophy that the most important lessons are rarely taught in school.
Stories connect us. So do conversations. I am actively looking to connect with people who share a passion for original, culturally rich storytelling with global appeal.
